The Monastery of the Patriarchate of Peć is a medieval Serbian Orthodox monastery located near the city of Peć, in Kosovo.

This Late Roman fortified palace compound and memorial complex, in the east of Serbia, was commissioned by Emperor Caius Valerius Galerius Maximianus, in the late 3rd and early 4th centuries. It was known as Felix Romuliana, named after the emperor’s mother.

The complex is a UNESCO World Heritage site, inscribed under the name Gamzigrad-Romuliana, Palace of Galerius.

Visoki Decani Monastery, Serbia (Kosovo region)

Visoki Dečani is a major Serbian Orthodox Christian monastery located in Metohia (Kosovo). Probably the best preserved medieval church in the Balkans, containing the most extensive preserved fresco decoration.

Nestled in the embrace of western Kosovo’s Decan Canyon, surrounded by grapevines and chestnut trees, the abbey is a two hour’s drive from the capital Pristina.

Saint Sava Temple | Храм Светог Саве from Serbia

The Temple of Saint Sava is an Orthodox church which is dedicated to Saint Sava, founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The church is built on the Vračar plateau, on the location where it is believed the remains of St. Sava were burned in 1595 by the Ottoman Empire's Sinan Pasha.

It is one of the most famous works of the Croatian sculptor, Ivan Meštrović.
