Yekaterininsky Palace, Pushkin, Russia

Pushkin (founded in 1710) is located approximately 25 kilometers from St. Petersburg and is situated on land granted by Peter the Great to his wife, the future Catherine I.

Yekaterininsky Palace was built about 300 years ago in 1724.  It was the first tsar house made of stone.
