The Visovac Monastery is a Roman Catholic monastery, located on the island of Visovac, encircled by a lake within Croatia’s Krka National Park.
Visovac was first settled by Augustinian monks, who established a small monastery and church dedicated to the Apostle Paul in the 14th century. A new Franciscan monastery was built in the 18th century.
