Słupsk is a city in northern Poland near the Baltic coast. The Town Hall in Słupsk was built in 1901, when the town was known as Stolp, and was a part of the Prussian Province of Pomerania within the German Empire.
Słupsk was once a member of the Hanseatic League, an alliance of trading towns located along the coast of the North and Baltic Seas.
