The Holy Island of Lindisfarne (or just Holy Island) is a tidal island off the northeast coast of England. It is located in the part of England called Northumbria, once a medieval Anglian kingdom.
The island is home to a population of less than 200 and is connected to the mainland by a causeway that is cut off twice a day by the tides.
